Doing an internship while studying

Sacrificing your free time as an undergrad student is going to pay off when you start looking for a job. No matter whether you choose spending time picking up new skills (maybe through an online course or by presenting your project to a competition) or whether you prefer to pursue an internship; both options will a positive impact when interviewing for a position at any company.

Personally, I believe that, having done an internship will bring you more benefits, as it will be a proof of having a good mindset (careerwise) to a hypothetical employer: commitment, hardwork and, if you're still taking classes, time management. A lot of companies will be willing to train you if they think you have the mindset their culture identifies with.
